To check the most recent information available regarding an RN license or to view public documents regarding any actions taken, please check the individual's license status through the DCA License Search page. The license information provided through this search page is primary source data from the Board of Registered Nursing licensing system called BreEZe. A link to any available disciplinary documents will be listed below an individual's license status.

If the documents are not available for a discipline related matter, you may contact the Board's Enforcement Program. The information that the BRN provides to DCA is a true and accurate reflection of our license records that are derived from primary source documents. We are informed that while the Department believes the information to be reliable, human or mechanical error remains a possibility, as does delay in the posting or updating of information.

Failure to do so could result in a disciplinary action by the board. If you do not get that screen, you are not finished. We will not assist in answering the questions. Each exam question has the statute or rule that the question is from listed so you can look up the answers yourself. Some questions are general questions that apply to all professions but the majority of the questions are profession specific. We receive the results for those that completed the exam on the next business day.
